On the front of the box is a three step picture guide to getting your device running before you even see the instruction manual; this is extremely beneficial to the user; given that the device really is simple enough to use, given that you can master this divine just from seeing the three step instructions on the box! The box is incredibly informative and will easily have you knowing how to use and maintain the device in just a couple of minutes; as well as this, the specifications, and more information on the products intended purpose can be found on the back. Upon opening the box there is a plastic housing in which the KitSound Bluetooth Headphone Splitter is sitting. In another compartment is the charger (a USB cable) and two aux cords. Which is great because straight from the box you are already equipped to handle any situation! The instructions reside underneath the plastic casing and are easily found also. The instructions are easy to read, and easy to navigate, you can have no issue at all maintaining or using your device if you read the concise booklet which gets straight to the point. I'd fully charged the device which only took an hour to an hour and a half. I'd then noticed that there was Interference in the first set of headphones when plugging in the second pair of headphones. Although I had later found that Unplugging the second set of headphones provided no interference. So if your friend unplugs their headphones/ earphones you'd not be disturbed at all. The device is super sleek, which lovely LEDs which clearly display battery life/ on or off status. It's very small and can easily fit into your pocket! You can take it anywhere with you. Upon holding the device, the materials feel cheep and easily broken; however, Mine has been put through its paces and it's still going strong. The structural integrity of this device is truly outstanding. Turning on and off is super easy, it also makes a tone to tell you when you are turning the device on and off through the already plugged in earphones/ headphones - upon turning the device off, it pauses your music on the device you are streaming the music from! This means that while on a bus or In a busy public space and you turn off your Bluetooth Headphone Splitter, your music will not continue to play out loud! Which trust me, is a god send. Has it made my aux to lightning port adapter redundant? For the most part yes. Because the device has to be charged (which I do every night) and the incredibly long listening time, I tend to leave my aux to lightning adapter at home, but there is always that risk of the Headphone Splitter running out of juice! occasionally I do forget to charge the Bluetooth Headphone Splitter when I go out and I bring my adapter just in case... but so far the battery has held up pretty good and I have not had to fall back on my adapter. The short press of the MFB button (which is the only button on the Splitter) pauses and un pauses your music perfectly! And the process of turning the device on and off is super simple and cannot interfere with any other command the button is programmed to do. Would recommend this product, the battery life is incredible, the range is as it says on the box and specifications (10 meters), but when are you ever going to listen to music on this when you are miles from your device? Sound quality is not reduced due to the transfer, I'd say sound quality has more improved compared to plugging in the lightning adapter and earphones/ headphones... although it is very slight and barely noticeable it is still a pro! Overall 4/5. The feels like the device could be easily broken and with the interface when your plugging in your headphones/ earphones although it lasts for half a second it is a bit of a let down; although, it works perfectly, the battery lasts almost all day for me! I've started leaving my adapter for my earphones at home and started bringing this instead!
